Laerdal Medical is confirming a shift in our distribution method of the Laerdal Red Cross-branded Pocket Mask® products.
As you may be aware from a September announcement from the American National Red Cross, Laerdal Medical will no longer distribute the Red Cross-branded Pocket Masks direct to Chapters. Effective January 1, 2011, Laerdal Pocket Masks will only be available to you via the National Red Cross Store website. Specifically, two types of Laerdal Red Cross Pocket Masks will be available; they are the non-O2 (without oxygen inlet) versions. During the transition period, now through December 31, 2010, Pocket Mask purchases can be made direct from Laerdal. Stock is available and we welcome your continued orders.
Laerdal Medical appreciates the privilege and the continued opportunity to work directly with Red Cross Chapters. We have a long history of collaboration, and we look forward to our continued involvement. It is very important to note that this shift in Pocket Mask distribution does not, in any way, change the availability for direct Chapter purchases on other Laerdal products.
