How Long Does it Take You to Find Your AED?
A cardiac arrest event can happen…to anybody… anywhere. Family members, friends, coworkers, anyone can be affected. In fact, each year close to 500,000 people suffer cardiac arrest in the United States*. Yet survival rates in cardiac arrest related events are still very low.
What can we do to help?
One way to strengthen the chain of survival is to train people in your community to respond quickly and provide CPR and defibrillation therapy to someone who needs it. Our friends at the Today Show shared a couple of good tips with all of us, including the fact that we all should know where the nearest AED is located in our workplace. This short video goes over this and other valuable lessons featuring Jeff Rossen, Little Anne® and AED Trainer 2.
A community that is ready to step in and provide CPR can make an enormous impact! You can make an impact, learn CPR!
