Important Information about NCLEX

In January 2015 the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN®) replaces the CRNE as Canada's national examination for those applying to be a Registered Nurse. At Laerdal Medical Canada, we can help you and your students successfully prepare for and complete the NCLEX-RN® with innovative solutions developed in cooperation with our strategic partners.

Together with the National League for Nursing (NLN), we've developed Simulation in Nursing Education Volumes 1 & 2 which consists of 40 medical and surgical scenarios carefully mapped to the 2013 NCLEX-RN test categories. These scenarios are now updated for SimPad with added functionality and integration with our new platform, vSim.

Laerdal Medical and Wolters Kluwer have teamed up to develop vSim for Nursing, an online learning solution that simulates curriculum-driven patient scenarios. The first available product in the vSim line features 10 patients, each representing a scenario based on the Volume 1 Medical-Surgical scenarios developed and endorsed by the NLN and mapped to the 2013 NCLEX-RN test categories.

While you begin to transition from CRNE to the NCLEX-RN exam, Laerdal is here to help with core content materials that can support your educational leaning objectives.
