Nursing Simulation Scenarios from the National League for Nursing

Enhance your simulation-based nursing courses by integrating preconfigured scenarios into your curriculum.

To meet the needs of nursing educators, Laerdal worked with the National League for Nursing to create two volumes of scenarios mapped to the NCLEX.

Volume I contains 10 surgical scenarios and 10 medical scenarios and are designed to challenge students at different levels. The package includes basic and advanced scenarios. Cases range from obtaining vital signs, through recognising and managing life-threatening complications.

Volume II contains 10 core and 10 complex scenarios that are more advanced than volume I scenarios. These scenarios will challenge your nursing students to diagnose and treat rare cases in a clinical environment. Medical cases range from sickle cell anemia, experience with malfunctioning pacemaker/defibrillator to renal failure and acute severe pancreatitis.
