ATACC (Anaesthesia, Trauma and Critical Care)is an international trauma course based in the United Kingdom.

The course is now 10 years old and is accredited by two Royal Colleges, numerous emergency services and runs frequently throughout the year for candidates drawn from all areas of medicine and trauma care. ATACC is now an international organisation with both faculty members and candidates being drawn from various countries around the world. Everyone involved gives a tremendous amount of time and effort to maintain the high standards of both trauma and pre-hospital care that we have set. The aims and ethos of the ATACC organisation are to develop, educate and perform the Gold Standard of trauma and pre-hospital clinical care.

The ATACC Faculty consists of clinicians from each medical speciality and senior members of the various emergency services. ATACC is a multi-disciplinary course for all specialties and is ideal for all candidates working within anaesthesia, surgery, emergency medicine, critical care and pre-hospital medicine. It is also appropriate for any individual in a profession allied to medicine who may encounter trauma patients as part of their daily duties (whether they be nurses, ODPs or members of the emergency services.) The course teaches trauma management from the roadside through to the critical care unit and as such includes both pre-hospital and in-hospital care.
