The AHA’s ECG & Pharmacology Course has been updated to reflect new science in the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care.

This classroom-based, Instructor-led course covers basic electrophysiology, normal ECG measurements, basic arrhythmias and the administration of appropriate drugs within the ACLS algorithms. The course contains two modules, ECG and Pharmacology, which may be taught separately or combined into one course. The ECG module takes approximately 3.5 hours to complete, while the Pharmacology module takes about 2.75 hours to complete. When taught together, the estimated course length is 6.25 hours without breaks. Upon successful completion of each module, students will receive a Certificate of Completion. Completion of this course does not result in an AHA course completion card.
