The Online Competence Management System (CMS) is a web-based application designed to help Educators facilitate, supervise and assess student progress on the virtual patient cases found in MicroSim.

 

Using the Online CMS

  • Educators can access student progress anywhere, anytime online using a unique URL.
  • As students complete patient cases on CD, their progress is automatically uploaded to the Online CMS. 
  • Once logged in to the CMS, educators can monitor progress and results using several reporting functions.

Functions of the CMS

  • Summary and detailed reporting based on performance, by groups of students or by specific patient case
  • Import/Export student data 
  • Send reminders -  create email reminders to be sent to students
  • Configure patient cases to match your curriculum and educational environment
