The ACLS Scenarios is a set of 34 scenarios that address major learning objectives geared toward cardiopulmonary emergencies. The scenarios are targeted to healthcare professionals and students at different levels, including paramedics, nurses, physicians, and others with responsibilities in managing patients with cardiopulmonary emergencies.
The scenarios offer educators the ability to provide realistic and challenging scenario-based simulation to improve and test learners’ critical thinking and decision-making skills in accordance with the 2015 American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC.
The set contains:
• 5 skills station scenarios for training key skills in the context of the relevant rhythms
• 23 core scenarios designed to train assessment and management of patients following the 2015 AHA algorithms
• 6 test scenarios with 12 case presentations designed for Megacode testing
ACLS Scenarios are designed for use with a wide range of Laerdal simulators. The scenarios are compatible with SimPad and SimPad PLUS Automatic Mode and LLEAP Automatic Mode.
