When Simulation Becomes Part of How a Hospital Improves - Lessons from Alder Hey Children's Hospital

Join Russell Ashworth from Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust, one of the UK's leading children's hospitals, for a practical discussion on how simulation has evolved from a training activity into a tool for improving patient care, clinical systems, and organisational change.

In this interview-style webinar, Russell shares how his team successfully expanded in situ simulation across clinical wards, engaged senior consultants and stakeholders, and built support for using recorded simulation reviews with SimCapture to drive learning and improvement. He discusses the challenges, lessons learned, and practical steps that helped turn simulation into a valued part of healthcare improvement at Alder Hey.

Whether you are a simulation lead, educator, clinician, or healthcare leader, you'll leave with ideas and inspiration for growing the impact of simulation within your own organisation.
